About Us

Ai Ikunaga, PsyD, RYT 500, TCTSY-F
I am certified as a Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F) and trained in Kripalu Yoga both of which focus on grounding in the present moment and safety. I am also a licensed psychologist in PA with interests in the treatment of complex trauma, eating disorders/body-self image concerns, emotional dysregulations and mental health of those who identify as BIPOC+ (Black, Brown, Indigenous, Peoples of Color, +), AANHPI+ (Asian American/Asian Descent, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islanders, +).
One Breath Trauma Sensitive Yoga & Mindfulness is my unique combination of Kripalu Yoga, TCTSY, Mindfulness Practice, and my training as a psychologist and focuses on safety, choices, slowing down, and activating your parasympathetic (relaxing) nervous system.
I believe that the connection of mind, body, and soul is important in the healing process of any kind. One Breath Trauma Sensitive Yoga & Mindfulness is an opportunity for people to pause, check in with themselves, and explore their relationships to their bodies in an environment where safety and choices are prioritized.
My interest in yoga was built on my practice of mindfulness. I am grateful for the teachings I have received from my meditation teachers and what I have internalized as an individual of Japanese origin where many teachings of mindfulness are embedded in its culture. I continue to cultivate my own practice in raising awareness of the present moment through yoga and mindfulness practices.
Tampopo AKA Dandelion
Tampopo was my partner in our practice. He proudly graduated from Canine Good Citizen Program at Philly Unleashed and passed the test for Comfort Caring Canines Therapy Dog Certification. He greeted clients, took good naps, and did his Downward Facing Dog very well. Sadly, he crossed the rainbow bridge in Nov of 2025. I still have him as my partner in my heart and he continues to influence my practice as he reminds me of the importance of loving, caring presence.
